Rylee entered the room as requested and looked around at the need and tidy space. She was honestly impressed really, Especially with the Klingon Bat’Leth on the wall and the Marine Corps flag, “Your office?” She asked as she moved towards the seat, but did not take the seat yet.

“Yep, the new home away from home I suppose? Still waiting on the rest of my junk.” The Colonel followed in after her and rounded the corner of the desk before stopping. “I wouldn’t quite call this a privilege as their menu well … sucks, but would you care for a drink?” Gunther headed towards the replicator while pointing at it. “Relax, it’s not a bribe either.”

Col. Gunther
Warden

Rylee actually smiled, “water is fine.” the young woman said as she moved to take a seat. “I didn’t think it was a bribe.” She added softly.

“Just water ..?” The Colonel said skeptically as he stood by the replicator. “One coffee, hot, black, with honey and ..” He paused to give Amara another attempt to re-think her water choice in case she wanted something else. He didn’t have any objections to the water, it’s just that .. you could get water any time you needed in the prison.

OOC: Short post XD Waiting for the conversation bits to start up after the drinks are out of the way lol

OOC: Lol no prob understandable.

IC: She tried to resist the urge to roll her eyes but didn’t, fine he found her weakness. “Iced Vanilla Latte.” She said instead of the water. He was right she could get water anytime in her cell, she was unable to get caffeine while in her cell.

Rylee Amara, Prisoner

”.. Iced Vanilla Latte.” It was only a moment before they appeared before him and he collected it, the hot black coffee in his right, and the cold drink in his left. “A fan of the sweet coffee’s I see.” He walked back over to his side of the desk and sat his down on a old stained cork coaster before grabbing one from a stack nearby and tossing it lightly like a Frisbee towards her side. It only bounced once before it stopped and he set the cold drink down on it. He sat down in his chair sinking into it a little bit before giving a small sigh, grabbing his coffee and taking a sip to allow her a moment to have a bit of her drink.

“I believe your story, though I feel like it’s almost like it’s one of those situations where they wanted to slap you with the law.” He sat down his coffee back on the coaster. “I can relate to what you did for that scientist. I wouldn’t want to prolong a fellow Marine’s suffering if he was sure to die. From my thoughts on it I feel that they slapped you with that charge because of the violation of the Prime Directive.” He leaned back and rested his palms on the edge of his desk as he continued, “Acting like gods in front of a primitive civilization only contaminates their culture and development and sets their innovation and discovery way back if no technology is given to them.” He shrugged. “It’s just never a good thing to do.”

He tapped a PaDD off to the side of him, most likely indicating that it was most likely her file on it. “The Captain believes your fit for duty at least in limited shifts at the moment. Can you explain what your daily role is during these hours?”

Col. Gunther
Warden

“I do enjoy sweet drinks.” She admitted with an almost childish smile. She enjoyed the taste of the latte taking her time with it. “It was never my intention to disrupt their natural course. We never distributed technology or medicine of any kind. they weren’t so primitive as to not be able to handle their own technological advances nor were they so primitive as to not be able to communicate. Mostly we gave them food and clothing to care for the young they couldn’t afford.” She said with a shrug never have thought that was so bad. They kept their shuttle well hidden so it would not be found by anyone. It had all been marked down in her report when she had given it. She wasn’t making excuses, Rylee knew and accepted that she had violated the prime directive.
