The young man knew his mother was far too busy with recent.. issues, to have much time for him. Of course, this left the boy to his own devices, which, generally speaking, meant that there was trouble in his path. Though, being of the soft spoke side, he had no desire to make it harder for anyone, well, more than it already was. So, curious to tame his boredom, he headed out of the quarters that he and his mother shared, making his way through the halls. He received several looks, which he had already learned to expect, being who he was, but they didn’t bother him. Whistling, he headed for the Sickbay, quite happily.Ikra had always had a fascination for medicine, it was something that made the wheels in his mind turn round and round, as if the machine of his brain had finally a reason to be active and alive. Standing before the looking doors of the Sickbay, he rose his head, watching as the metallic slid open with a distinctive hiss, which still sent shivers of fear up his spine. Scrunching his eyebrows, he stepped inside, his eyes widening in awe at the world around him. “Whoa,” the soft expression escaped his lips in a thick, Bajoran accent. “This is so cool!” He remarked, his English still a bit odd, as it was a new language. Inquisitively, the child made his way about the bay, studying everything he could find.. and touching stuff, obviously.

“Fvadt.” (Damn it.) Jaieh stood up from her desk. She came around to Ikra. “You must be the Captain’s son. Why have you come down to sickbay?”
