Aidan let out a sigh as he changed out of the stiff Starfleet Uniform and into his normal BDU’s. No wonder the fleeters were so stuck up, they could barely move. But it was good cover for moving through the regular channels.

Double checking his quarters, everything was put in place, weapons properly secured. He had been on the move for the last dozen or so years, he had learned to pack light. But everything was in place. It was also easier to tell if someone had been through his stuff. But for now, it was time to check in with the CO.

Aidan stepped on the bridge, it wasn’t hard to tell who was in charge from the air around him. He stepped up to him.

“Captain, Aidan Harmon.”

David looked up from his very important reading–staring at a blank PADD–and it took him a moment before responding, “Oh! Right, Commander Harmon, I’ve heard a lot about you. Please, let’s step into my ready room.” He gestured to the door not far from them.

Aidan nodded as he headed in to the Ready Room. “I hope I’m not taking you away from anything important.”

“No, not at all. It’s nothing I’m not capable of waiting to read.” David said, securing the room–mostly out of habit–before moving to the replicator. “Would you like something?”

David Mills, CO

“Coffee, black, double strong. Please,” Aidan said as he noted the Captain securing the room. Good habits were always hard to teach. The biggest question he had though was how formal this Captain was going to be. Though being called Commander was not a great start.

“So the Trenton. It definitely looks like it is a unique ship,” Aidan said as he pulled out one of the chairs in the ready room. Taking a seat he leaned back.
