I have written with Jake since I first returned to STF a year ago. He is supportive of writers and their creative ideas, and he is always willing to brain storm and write with anyone. He was the story teller for the first story line on Leviathan while we were in x-fleet and it was outstanding. There was plenty to do and it was also not predictable. There were plot twists and clues to keep us all interested. As an XO and CO he has created fun and serious side sims and engages with all the crew. I 100% recommend Jake for the GMT program.
Jake has been my XO on the Leviathan for a year now and, in that time, has shown himself to be an absolutely top quality writer and roleplayer, both in character and out. He was the first player on the Levi to step up and run an anomaly encounter and delivered to us a carefully crafted tale full of mystery, intrigue and action that included everyone onboard, even some of our more exotic swings.
Since then he has continued to display a flair for quality worldbuilding, painting a vivid and inventive portrait of the ARU’s starbase headquarters, including some truly unique security features that were a joy to RP with.
He is always ready to offer encouragement and support to the rest of the crew and possesses a solid understanding of the different departments, both things I personally consider key for an effective GM. Behind the scenes I find him easy to work and to plot with, always keen to offer a new idea or to listen to and expand on any of my own.
It is my opinion that Jake will make an outstanding GM and will bring something fun and exciting to any ship fortunate enough to have him.

Jake served on the Manhattan with me as his CO as the ship’s Security Chief. He was very talented, creating engrossing and detailed characters and interactions with the rest of the crew. He participated in the main sim regularly, and was diligent in his duties.
Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, Jake is a gifted writer. He is descriptive, creative, and exciting in his writing. Having worked on other ships with him as well, I know that he would be a great asset to the GM Department and the club as a whole within that role.

I’ve written with Jake for about six or so months continuously now in that time as GM for the sentinel I have seen Jake take command of a ship in rough shape and though it still has some sharp edges turn it around for the better overall. He is a creative and talented writer and though he recently had a run in with some rough things in life overall he is a steady reliable poster and replies to concerns within a day or three. I would imagine he would only grow stronger in a role as GM within STF and would be happy to see him among our numbers in time.
