Mission Summary: All three groups were independently able to free themselves from the occupation of the outpost.
In Sickbay a forced joining took place before the crew was able to free themselves, but then they were able to safe the life of the crewmember who had been forcefully joined by a clone symbiont of evil Ter. He is on his way to recovery. Kareel decided to take the responsibility to kill Torben Ter as well as the symbiont Ter, committing the major crime on Trill, even if the symbiont was undoubtedly evil.
The Maze group also freed itself, leaving a blood bath in the Maze and in its wake it had become clear to everybody present that the archeologist Alex Hammond was something very different, killing 5 Cardassians single-handedly and showing a very different face to what everybody was used from him.
In Ops, the new XO had been the only one able to talk her way out of the situation without any killing. Hence there is only one surviver of the boarding party, the joined Trill Darla, formerly the lover of the evil Torben Ter. Her symbionts previous host had been a starfleet officer, and those memories finally won over the evil deeds committed by Torben Ter.
The Cardassian mercanery ship that had brought the three Trills had long since fled when their scans showed them that they were definetly on the losing side.
The station's personell, the civilians and guests were in shock and the crew now had to cope with a huge aftermath of the incident and a lot of dead Cardassian bodies, but they came out mostly unharmed.
