Mission Summary

The Europa was sent to investigate the Tau-Sigma star. The science outpost orbiting the star had reported that it was going to go into nova. During the investigation, it was discovered that there was an artificial object within the star. The star's collapse was artifically initiated.

There were two colonies affected by this nova. They were at different star systems: Tau-Omega and Tau-Omicron, neighbours of Tau-Sigma. The Discovery class Europa was split into two to conduct evacuations.

During the rescue, various things came into light. The Tau-Omegans were actually responsible for the nova. The Tau-Omicronians had a very questionable government system.

The mission ended with the delivery of the rescued colonists to a starbase where further investigation of the situation would be made by Starfleet.
