Before I announce my cabinet there are two ship transfers that I need to make happen.

The USS Asimov, Fleet 4. Will move to Fleet 1.

The USS Saracen, Fleet 3. Will move to Fleet 5.

The Internet Department is requested with thanks to make the necessary changes on the 21st of April, 2013. This is in order to give the crew of each ship sufficient notice.

After a wave of impressive applications I have decided upon my cabinet for this term.

Jack Dipper is appointed as Fleet Commander, Fleet 1.
Kat Dedul is retained as Fleet Commander, Fleet 2.
Matthew Kleinman is retained as Fleet Commander, Fleet 3.
Jim Hosick is appointed as Fleet Commander, Fleet 4.
Chris Grinder is appointed as Fleet Commander, Fleet 5.
Joe P is appointed as Fleet Commander, Fleet 6.

Steve Johnson is appointed as Academy Commandant.
Helen Hosick is appointed as Personnel Director.
Robert Archer is appointed as Engineering Director.
Thomas Bates is retained as Internet Director.
Lindsay Bayes is appointed as Gamemaster Director.

The standard of the applications were at an impressively high standard this year. I would like to thank everybody that placed themselves forward for consideration as all the applications were a pleasure to read.

I would like to personally pass on my thanks to those who served in the last cabinet, including those whom have resigned. My VP has had positive things to say about each and every one of you and your good work is there for all to see as testament to all the hard work and effort you all put into your roles.

I am pleased to announce that my new Vice President will be Steve Johnson. He has stood down from his position so that he can assist me in the running of our club. Steve is an extremely experienced member who is amongst the longest serving and will continue my campaign promise to learn from such a member.

I would like to thank the 4 applicants that applied, they made it a hard choice to make. I would also like to that the members that came forward in recommending people. Many people that I count as friends have been extremely supportive and many others that I really didn?t expect this level of support from have helped me during this and I hope now that we can all put this behind us and move on.

Following the removal of Thomas Bates as Internet Director the position was opened up to applications. After receiving 2 applications that same day and one since then I am pleased to appoint Jack Dipper as his replacement and the new Internet Director.

Jack Dipper is subsequently released from his role as Fleet Commander-1. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for all the work he has completed within the fleet.

Thank you to the two other members that applied for the vacant position, your intentions to serve the club further than you all already do so have been appreciated and noted.

Tyra Schroll is hereby appointed as the Personnel Director. Adjacent to this she is released from her role as the Marketing and Advertising Coordinator.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tyra for all her hard work within the MAC role since her appointment, the membership numbers have taken strides in recent weeks and I wish Tyra all the best in her venture back into the Personnel Department.

?All ships must have a designated ship speed and the respective set of AWOL limits. For Standard Ships these are:

Fast: 2 days for Command Staff (including GM), 3 days for Department Heads and 4 days for all others
Medium: 3 days for Command Staff (including GM), 5 days for Department Heads and 7 days for all others
Slow: 5 days for Command Staff (including GM), 7 days for Department Heads and 10 days for all others.

Should the CO wish to change the speed of the ship, they must seek the approval of their FComm.

Should RPG areas wish to use a non-standard set of AWOL limits, they must be commissioned as an Alternative RPG and have the AWOL limit set in their charter. Alternative RPGs without an AWOL limit set in their charter will need to comply with the above standards.?
