USS Genesis

Commanding Officer: Luke Hung

How is your ship looking overall? Its looking okay. There is nothing wrong, but we have several two person post threads. Which in of itself isn’t bad, but it does rely on both people being equally active or the thread can start being jumpy with activity then pause. The sim has gone on a while as the characters are only making moderate progress as there is alot of talking going on. The medical and XO are working on side threads and we’ve picked up some roster spots.

What was your favorite moment/post on the ship this month (include a link if possible!)?

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month.

Gamemaster: Kenson Koh

Summarize the sim plot so far as if you were providing it to a new member joining the ship: The Genesis had encountered two civilisations in unexplored space. One was at the brink of discovering faster than light travelling, and the other an aggressive conquering race with warp capabilities. One away team was sent to make first contact with the first civilisation. The Genesis went towards the other world to engage the second civilisation. The second civilisation was actually spying on the first and seems to be intending to conquer the first civilisation. Negotiations are ongoing between the second civilization and Genesis officers.

Who was the biggest contributor this month to driving the sim forward?

It’s great to see the longest ship in the Fleet back at it posting wise. I’m glad to see Hjortur back on the Genny

USS Merrimack

Commanding Officer: David Fergusson

How is your ship looking overall? The Merrimack has a full compliment of department heads again. At the time of writing there is no one absent without leave, and most are posting well in advance of the posting limits. obviously, that isn’t the whole story as there has been long term sickness and other exceptional circumstances. A new COS has joined us this month.
We are no into the middle of the current Sim and a landing party (away team) is on a first contact visit to the orbital habitat. The cuckoo child is still being cared for aboard the Merrimack.

What was your favorite moment/post on the ship this month (include a link if possible!)? Nothing outstanding sticks in the memory this month.

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month.Our posts tend to be longer, more involved and deeper, but I’d like then to become even more so and outstanding examples of role-playing.

Gamemaster: Robert Archer

Summarize the sim plot so far as if you were providing it to a new member joining the ship: Sim wise the Merrimack did well this month, especially in the past few days. The entire crew has been briefed about their plan to go over to the habitat and learn more about the strange alien people they have encountered. They are going over by shuttle so as not to expose the primitives to knowledge of their transporter. There will be a dinner banquet held in their honor soon

Who was the biggest contributor this month to driving the sim forward? To be honest everyone on the ship helped contribute to things in some form or another.
