How are the DHs doing? Are they all active and participating, both in the main sim and in any side sims?DHs are starting to get more involved. It’s been fairly slow as we just started a new Sim with Katy doing a GMT Sim! My hope is that we will get more participation soon.

How are the JOs doing? Are the all active and participating, both in the main sim and in any side sims?We don’t have very many JOs, so they haven’t been quite as active. I’ll try to give them a prodding and see how things are.

Who is the shining star this month? Linds and James have been consistent with their posting this month and are always a treat to read! And Catt has been within limits despite not having much to do at the moment! Great work you 3!

FComm’s Comments: CO position has been posted as of 6/10/22. Pioneer Fleet will be accepting applications until 6/18/22. Tony will lead the way as acting CO until the position is filled.

AFComm’s Comments: Some AWOLs at the time of me writing this report, but I’m seeing a lot of posts over the past few days.

USS Atlantis

How are the DHs doing? Are they all active and participating, both in the main sim and in any side sims?We’ve a robust set of threads active right now between side sims and the main sim. It’s good to see, if a little challenging to keep up on. Most folks are active. A couple are away, though there are plenty of places to be a part of. The general creativity is impressive and I’m always in some awe at the imagination and quality of the people who write here. It ups my game, or at least challenges me to up my game in both participation and quality.

How are the JOs doing? Are the all active and participating, both in the main sim and in any side sims?Of our couple JO’s, one is awol but Jody is progressively working through the check in threads. Kudos to Dustin, the civilian Ferengi, on his first posts on being aboard. Quality play of an enigmatic and admittedly difficult race to play well.

Who is the shining star this month? I would say Dustin Smith is the star for this month in his Ferengi portrayal. :) Good job Dustin.

Gamemaster: Luke Hung

Summarize the sim plot so far as if you were providing it to a new member joining the ship: Sim is moving along. The Captain and Crew are negotiating so as to no longer be a pariah in a sector of space that the Federation has no presence. The deal seems to be quite generous and likely to make friends.

Who was the biggest contributor this month to driving the sim forward?

FComm’s Comments: CO report is excused for this month. The Atlantis is active and continues to move forward in the right direction. A couple AWOLs, but nothing this command team can not handle.

AFComm’s Comments: There’s a lot of activity on the Atlantis at the moment! They’re in need of a CSO if anyone is interested!

USS Chimera

Commanding Officer: Katherine Dedul

How is your ship looking overall? We are trending in the right direction, but we still have some work to do. I am seeing a lot less AWOLing, which is exactly what I like to see, so I think with a few more people on the roster, things will really stabilize. I am happy with the direction the ship is taking, so I just have to make sure the upward momentum continues.

What was your favorite moment/post on the ship this month (include a link if possible!)? Both my XO and new CMO have jumped right into things. Jason has seemlessly integrated into the away team which will help continue to drive things there and S. Kimmel has entertained us with his posts about getting people ready for away team duty (as we need to modify our appearances quite a bit to avoid detection on the planet by the locals!).

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month.I have a few more positions to fill, namely the COS and the Air Command Group CO for the marines. I’d also like to find a few more JOs to round things out. It’s been a gradual process, but things seem to be headed in the upward trend which is good.

Summarize the sim plot so far as if you were providing it to a new member joining the ship: The USS Chimera has been tasked to check up on and locate a missing Primitive species observation team. the species that is under observation has just entered their Industrial Revolutionary period however they have technology that is 20-40 years more advanced and they are there to make sure its not an outside influence

The Chimera is unable to locate the team on Sensors something is masking the team’s unique life signs so an away team has been sent to do so the old fashioned way upon beaming down in the jungle outside the teams last known location they got a ride into town from a local and meeting with their contact another local who thinks the Away team is from another city come to find their friends the Chimera team has been lead to the Observation teams base in an antique shop they have just located a key hidden in the Cash Register and now can open the door to the locked room and continue the investigation on where this team might have disappeared from

Who was the biggest contributor this month to driving the sim forward? the newest XO on the Chimera Jason Wolfe he has also been very helpful in pushing me for new details and more world-building as this sim evolves He is making me a Better GM along side my GMM Rob Archer

FComm’s Comments: XO report is excused this month. I will follow up with Kat this month on the progress of filling her DH positions. The Chimera is turning a new leaf with a brand new XO and filling their DH positions gradually this past month. I look forward to seeing what June brings.

AFComm’s Comments: Quality over quantity! There are a few vacancies that Kat and Jason are working on. Def heading in the right direction here!

USS Dresden

USS Ogawa

Commanding Officer: Calé Reilly

How is your ship looking overall? Overall the owie is looking ok again this month. We have had some AWOLs and LOAs but everyone who isn’t posting has reached out and explained their situations so I’m content to give them some leeway. We unfortunately lost Matt as CoP but were lucky to find a replacement in the amazing Mika Jackson. I’m excited to see her character get on board and get stuck in. I’d also like to thank Matt for his time on the owie.

What was your favorite moment/post on the ship this month (include a link if possible!)? I have loved the threads developing between Amber and Linds and James and Jenn. The story lines there have been really entertaining and exciting. Also loving the conversations and int actions between our engineering team so well done Nick and Jason. And the long distance letter 5read between Abigail and Nicole have been fun to keep up with. Mean while main sim wise Geoff is keeping us on our toes and each of those threads deserve a mention. I can’t wait to start yellin at Golfink in character!

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month.We are working in bringing the current main sim to its conclusion soon and Linds and Geoff and I are working on this which is exciting! As always we want to work on our AWOLs but ultimately life sometimes does get in the way and we need to accommodate that where possible.

FComm’s Comments: Current AWOLs are a concern and will follow up with the CO on that. The XO and GM reports are not excused for this month as I did not receive any e-mail from either.

AFComm’s Comments: Only a few AWOLs, but they don’t seem to be slowing the sim much. There was a lot of activity on the Ogawa for the month, so keep up the great work!
