How is your ship looking overall? The ship had 101 posts for the month of August which is within normal limits for a ship of its crew complement and posting speed. Summer vacation is wrapping up so hopefully posting will increase next month.

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month.Work with crew to increase posting rates.

FComm’s Comments: The Genesis still doesn’t have a GM and that is definitely having an effect on the ship. Despite that activity has increased by almost a quarter, though I’m concerned since AWOLs are up and some rostered characters haven’t posted. If anyone at all would like to get into GMing or return to the wonderful world of sim running, the Genesis could use your help.

How are the DHs doing? Are they all active and participating, both in the main sim and in any side sims?Everyone is doing well. No AWOL issues and there is consistent posting.

How are the JOs doing? Are the all active and participating, both in the main sim and in any side sims?JOs are doing well despite the fact that everything is slow moving right now.

Who is the shining star this month? No stars this month.

Gamemaster: Robert Archer

Summarize the sim plot so far as if you were providing it to a new member joining the ship: Merrimack is doing well this past month beyond some loas and such. Currently wrapping up the last bits of the sims with luck should hsve next sim stsrted by next months report

Who was the biggest contributor this month to driving the sim forward?

FComm’s Comments: The ship is in good health though activity has dropped by a bit more than half. AWOLs and LOAs have been less this month compared to last. Great job folks.

How is your ship looking overall? The colony is clicking along at a solid pace, although a bit slower than normal (which I attribute to end-of-summer LOA’s and such). 580 posts for August, down from 1,025 in July; but still far above the threshold for healthy. There are multiple PRISMs running, and character development is going strong.

What was your favorite moment/post on the ship this month (include a link if possible!)? The Arrival of the Lt. Governor’s family has been exciting and seeing how various characters interact with them has been great.

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month.AWOLs have been a bit problematic, but people are responding to emails and messages to get active. We would like to see new players step into some of the open roles we have as well; Star Fleet CSO being a huge part of the upcoming Vren PRISM.

AFComm’s Comments: There are a few AWOLs and LoAs and posting has dropped by nearly half since last month, 580 posts compared to July’s 1025. The big Vren event is getting going and should encourage player engagement in the next month. Compared to the rest of the fleet, activity is still high, but a large drop in activity is concerning.

USS Wolverine

Commanding Officer: Ray Branch

How is your ship looking overall? Overall, we’re slipping into the red. AWOLS/LOAs have hit an all-time high, all due to RL (school, work, and other priorities). Since I know each reason, no action will be needed this month.

While our sim is progressing slowly, it is, progressing and I’m sure we’ll only have a few more months left before a new one begins.

What was your favorite moment/post on the ship this month (include a link if possible!)? I’m going to use this space as a spotlight this month. Gene has done a great job at keeping the sim progressing despite our LOA/AWOLs.

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month.AWOLS are an ongoing issue, which I don’t see changing for the foreseeable future in STF. While I would love to say that I could turn this around, it’s just not going to happen. Though I can always try :)

AFComm’s Comments: There are 9/12 players AWOL or LoA including the entire command team. Posting has dropped from 77 to 55. The amount of awols paired with the drop in activity is quite concerning.
