The Foremost Fleet Report - April 2019

USS Ark Angel

Commanding Officer: Robert Archer

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 6

Ship Status: The ark angel continues in his adventures in making first contact with the Yellek people currently two away teams are working to stabilize their first two warp capable ships

We’ve had some loas and awols the past month myself included but that was due to some busy real lives suddenly crop up for a lot of the ship. Most of that is now taken care of

Spotlight:

Vacancies: JOs each department

Executive Officer: Trinity Fister

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: The Ark Angel has been slower this month, due to LOAs and AWOLs across the board. However, towards the end, posting picked up and the main sim began progressing nicely. Currently, the Ark Angel is still assisting the Yellek people; two separate away teams tending to each of the downed ships. Aside from the main sim, several side sims (including a Mok’bara sessions taught by the CMO!) are in session. Overall, she’s in good health!

Spotlight: Ben Simons, who plays Ensign Simon Starr. Despite having just graduated the academy, Ben was quick to get into the groove of things aboard the Ark Angel. It’s a pleasure to have him aboard!

Vacancies: Counselor
JOs in all departments

Gamemaster: Robert Archer

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 6

Sim Overview: The ark angel continues in his adventures in making first contact with the Yellek people currently two away teams are working to stabilize their first two warp capable ships

We’ve had some loas and awols the past month myself included but that was due to some busy real lives suddenly crop up for a lot of the ship. Most of that is now taken care of

FComm’s Comments: The Ark Angel is still one of the most consistent ships in the fleet with regards to activity and remaining within posting limits.

USS Asimov

Commanding Officer: No report submitted

Executive Officer: No report submitted

Gamemaster: No report submitted

AFComm’s Comments: Despite the lack of a GM, the crew of the Asimov has done their best to maintain posting levels with a series of side sims. I trust once they snag a GM, it’ll give them a nice boost in activity.

SS Bonaventure

Commanding Officer: Melissa Aragon

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: Have a couple extensive AWOL I’ve sent emails to. Hoping to get responses soon.

Spotlight: Baumann and Barr stick out this month. Bar is keeping up the bridge with the little things no one seems to think about. And Baumann is doing amazing on the away team.

Vacancies: None currently… Could change depending on AWOL responses.

Executive Officer: Krystelle McLean

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 5
Overall Ship Health: 6

Ship Status: The Bonaventure is currently plagued with a bit of LOA’s and AWOL’s which I blame myself for not keeping up with being so ill but I will be working on rectifying that. Despite that we have been continuing to creep along with the sim when Gene is able to post. We currently have met the inhabitants of the sphere and are in the process of trying to save them from utter catastrophe.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: Currently in need of all JO’s.

Gamemaster: Gene Gibbs

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Sim Overview: The Dyson Sphere, small by the concept of some, still takes in a tremendous area of space, a solid sphere (the skin anyway) of metal construct that surrounds a black hole singularity. Perhaps it was once a sun, perhaps not, it is there at the center of the space inside the sphere. This is what Dal’s people call the ‘Pit’. The interior of the Dyson Sphere has been ravaged. Perhaps it was time and lack of maintenance or perhaps something else, but the interior surface is all but scraped clean leaving metal reinforcing girders bare which keep the structure from caving into the singularity. Dal’s people - and by association others - live in ball like pods connected by tubes, looking not unlike grey glowing bulbs shaped like molecules. These are held in place by long chains bolted to the surface of the sphere to keep them from being drawn into the Pit/singularity. As well, whether this is adapted technology or old technology, there are a series of satellites between the living area of Dal’s people and the singularity. They are large gravity repulsors or anti-grav units that hold back the main force of the singularity’s pull.

Dal and his people - a bipedal humanoid form that is in form a mix of reptile and bird - have been living here as long as any memory resides. Whether by desperation or if this is a common thing, raiders by more powerful clans have been taking to stealing the repulsors for their own survival.

Right now raider ships are bearing down on one of the repulsors. Dal’s travel pod cannot carry them all away, nor can the Bonnie’s pod fit the rest. They need more help. Or to find a solution. Outside the Dyson Sphere the Bonnie is completing its negotiations with an AI presence called Heiro LY, a Watchman who is there to defend against threats. Within the Sphere other Watchmen were to be there, but they have been silent - as well as the Editors, an unknown personality who communicated at one time between the inside and outside worlds. The Bonnie is considering entering the sphere as well as launching a second shuttle pod to assist within, while the shuttle has taken off from Dal’s living area to intercept the incoming raiders. The remainder seek to find a way to evacuate Dal’s people if they fail and the repulsor is taken, consigning the living sphere and the clan to being sucked into the black hole.

FComm’s Comments: Bonaventure is currently in good health and is active. One significant AWOL (Armory Officer) needs to be addressed.

USS Memorial

Commanding Officer: Kirt Gartner

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 6

Ship Status: The ship seems to be trapped in whatever Destroyed the Titan We have beamed over the survivors and are treating them in sickbay there seems to be some kind of Gravitational anomaly and we are now waist deep in a mystery!

Spotlight: I cant keep this ship going without the whole crew and they are all amazing!
