The Foremost Fleet Report - July 2018

USS Ark Angel

Commanding Officer: Robert Archer

Crew Posting Level: 5
Senior Staff Posting Level: 5
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: Posting wise since the move the ship has been a little sluggish both on the Ark Angel and Merrimack. But now that we got both ships back up and running things are slowly picking up! On the Merrimack, the XO and company are building a subspace bomb, while in medical Bre, has gone in to labor and Cross and company are dealing with that, on the bridge Glen is debating sending a distress beacon as down in engineering the staff there aided by Ark Angel Lt Tranior is dealing with a Boron particle and trying to keep it from blowing up the ship! On the Ark Angel, Drudoc has returned to the ship, the XO has gotten the crew into their assigned tasks. Engineering and tactical/security are arming some quantum torpedoes with the dangerous Red Matter. While science is preparing to begin scans for the quantum reality hopping Serpents.

Spotlight: I really want to give a BIG shout out to my new XO James Sinclair, both before the move, and since he has been quick to learn all ive given to teach him, and implement his own style of sorts from what I seen for his own future command. He also was a big help for me during and after the move in backing up stuff and setting it up as for a week or so this month my life was hectic to the extreme. I feel with a little more time in the XO seat I wouldnt be against putting him up for a future opening in the CO chair!

Executive Officer: James Sinclair

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: The Ark Angel made the switch over with all hands present save one. The ship is currently fully operational.

FComm’s Comments: The AA made the changeover in excellent shape and the crew have picked up the threads of the sim again. Good job, Rob and Nathan! We are heading into the summer months where I expect to see a slow down and coupled with the changeover I think that is leading to a lot of ships being a bit slower then usual but the AA is still moving along well.

USS Asimov

Commanding Officer: Tyra Schroll

Crew Posting Level: 5
Senior Staff Posting Level: 5
Overall Ship Health: 5

Ship Status: we are still looking forvthe grand nagus and other missing diplomats. things are going well. they are getting back to a more normal posting speed.

Spotlight:

Executive Officer: No report submitted

Gamemaster: No report submitted

FComm’s Comments: Jason Lee, GM is excused from reporting this month as he’s still currently LOA. The Asimov survived the changeover so good job, Tyra and Dave. It is slowly commencing with its sim. The Asimov is a slower paced ship to begin with but they are currently picking up their sim threads again and moving along. I have no concerns with her at the moment.

SS Bonaventure

Commanding Officer: Melissa Aragon

Crew Posting Level: 5
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 6

Ship Status: We’re a bit slow out the new gate, but I think folks have figured it out and for July we’ll ROCK.

Spotlight: Kris! A, #1, without a doubt. Despite being sick, she stepped up for the move when I couldn’t. And with the added fleet responsibilities…I just have no way to thank her or repay her for what she’s done.
Bonnie would have floundered without her, for sure.

Executive Officer: Krystelle McLean

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: The sim was going pretty well before the changeover but things have slowed down significantly since. I will be working with the crew to get them posting regularly again. Gene, of course, is an incredible storyteller and always enjoyable.

Gamemaster: Gene Gibbs

Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Sim Overview: The Bonnie has now met two different races, who are both enigmatic. One, taking no form but that which their gaseous state seems to desire, and the other, whom they have not seen but only felt telepathically. The latter they rescued from a close orbit around a White Dwarf star and the former who sought them out shortly after. Why exactly, is the question, now. The ship is exacting repairs from the ‘rescue’ of the Arryha and attempting to secure their small ship. The other, well, they are talking with. Meanwhile in the armory they have managed to forestall a possible bad accident of the cook’s helper who had gotten into the armory somehow and was playing with a grenade, thinking it a can of beans. After a narrow ‘save’ of the ship from the armory blowing up, Bryan is in the sickbay being examined.

Spotlight:

FComm’s Comments: The Bonaventure made its way from the changeover with flying colors and the sim progressed almost immediately. Great job, crew! We’re moving into the summer months so are starting to see more LOA’s a slower pace of posting but the sim is still progressing.

USS Manhattan

Commanding Officer: Jeremy DeSpain

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: We had a great month over all. The switch to Exodus gave us a slight slow to posting overall, but we are swinging back nicely. I expect to be back to fully normal by the end of next month. The aim ia arill progressing slowly and I think that needs to be addressed slightly, but not overly concerned yet.

Spotlight: With the change over we also added Three new players to the Manny, I would like to spotlight BJ Janzen, and Casen Jones as the newest memebers of the Manny Cast. As well as our new CNS Mary Odonnel

Executive Officer: Steven Sigle

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: We are investigating the Delta Quadrant, filled with threats only seen from Voyager. Captain Balian has taking the reigns and kicking butt along the way. With the new changes to Exodus we have gotten everyone back, and posting almost across the board.

Spotlight:

Gamemaster: Tyra Schroll

Crew Posting Level: 5
Senior Staff Posting Level: 5
Overall Ship Health: 5

Sim Overview: 5he crew is sending down a team to invvestigate a distress signal from an unexplored planet in the delta quafrant while trying to avoid being pulled into a gravity well.

Spotlight:

FComm’s Comments: The Manhattan made the changeover in good shape and the sim threads were picked up right away. Good job, guys! I do see summer posting starting to kick in as things have slowed somewhat but they are still in good shape.

USS Manhattan:
The Manhattan has made the transition to Exodus fantastically, as was expected - a testament to the CO, XO, and GM’s organisation and handling of the crew. The quantity (and, more importantly, the quality!) of posting - from all the crew, as a whole - remains above expectations; unfortunately, despite this, the sim is still progressing particularly slowly. Thankfully, I do not see this as too much of an issue, considering the overall relative health of the ship, simply something for the consideration of the command staff.

USS Memorial

Commanding Officer: Kirt Gartner

Crew Posting Level: 4
Senior Staff Posting Level: 4
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: Ship has just arrived in the Vuzazue system and is getting into position to start unloading supplies as well as begin helping the colonists with anything they need

Spotlight:

Executive Officer: Nathan Derricutt

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: The crew are settling in to to the new site and are showing a readiness to get back into the swing of things. All our previous crew have made it onto our ship and we have not experienced any issues with the switch over. They main sim has started back up again and two new crew members have come aboard. Side sims are also popping up.

In general the ships morale is good and i hope we can keep it that way.

Spotlight:

Gamemaster: Robert Archer

Crew Posting Level: 5
Senior Staff Posting Level: 5
Overall Ship Health: 6

Sim Overview: The memorial is doing pretty good since the switch over! The roster is healthy, and the crew pretty active over all. Sim wise the ship has arrived at the Vuzavue system (seriously what crazy mind came up with that system name?!.....oh wait) currently they’re talking to the local science station commander, and sending over the CTO and a security officer to help them realign their simple weapon and shield systems. Otherwise the remaining crew will then be hopefully helping the Vuzavue colony with smaller tasks planet side.

Spotlight: Kirt’s commitment to getting more steady posting going on the Memorial keeps being shown! As is his desire to continue to refine and improve his skills in the center seat, plus he weathered the exodus storm well!

FComm’s Comments: The Memorial made the changeover with a few hiccups but they have managed to overcome them fairly quickly and the crew and sim are moving on fairly well. It is currently still waiting for Liam to complete his GMT sim and come aboard. Meanwhile, Rob is keeping the crew busy enough.

Krys McLean
FComm 1

USS Memorial:
Although the GM and CO seem to be managing the handover to Exodus adequately in terms of posting quantity, I am disappointed that not all posts on the Memorial had managed to have been transferred over, despite a full complement of command staff. Furthermore, I continue to remain concerned about the volume of issues the Memorial which seem to have risen on a monthly basis - especially in comparison to the rest of the fleet. Thankfully, on the whole, most of these issues have (at least on a temporary basis) been resolved satisfactorily; at the very least, this is a more preferable outcome.
