The Bonaventure is the only Enterprise-era Ship in STF. On the Bonnie, we explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, and we most certainly go boldly where no man has gone before... Don't get me started on the politically correct version...

Timeline Enterprise Era time line is set between 2155-2161

Most missions are either in this timeline or in limbo(GM's discretion)

Technology

Communications: All comm communication should use the [O] Open channel, [C] Close channel format for this era rather then =^= that is used in Main Fleet

Example:

[O] XO to the Bridge [C]

[O] Roger, CO , on my way [C]

Or

[O] Armory Chief, how are things going with the phase pistol count? [O]

[O] They are going well, Sir. We should have them completely within the hour. [O]

[O] Great. I'll look forward to your report. Captain, out. [C]

(([O] remains at beginning and end as long as the speaker has comm activated. Once the person deactivates it, [C] is placed to let the others know they are finished.))

Communicators: There are no combadges in this era, all communication on ship or off must take place by either hand held communicators or wall consoles with the exception of comm toggle on CO's desk/chair.

Portals: All doors must be toggled by wall displays with the exception of the Captain's Ready Room which has a toggle on his desk. To announce oneself, one must use the console beside door panel.

Computer: There is no working computer to speak to in this era. All communications and requests with the computer must take place at monitors and consoles by input.

Replicator: There are no replicators in this era. There is a protein re sequencer in the galley/mess hall. For personal food/beverages in quarters/offices, they must be brought there by carafes, trays, etc.

Personnel Weapons: Phase-pistols and rifles. See specs for details.

Hand Scanners: There are no borderline in this era. Large hand scanners were used which were a blocky bag that hung over the shoulder with a hand held wand. (Think old bulky car phones)

Bio-Beds: There are no bio-beds in the Med facilities but rather a single diagnostic bio scanner that a patient can be slid inside of. Though there are 3 regular beds. See specs for details.

Universal Translator: Is in it's very basic stage and only set up on ship's computer.

Places and Systems Aboard Ship

Crew Areas: Armory, Science Lab, Bridge, Engineering, Ready Room, Situation Room (open Conference Room back of bridge), Crew Quarters, Crew Rec Facilities (Mess Hall), Galley, Med Facilities, and Decon Chamber.

Utility Systems: Cargo Bays, Docking airlocks, Elevator Systems, Magnetic Grappling System, Transporter System, Utility Pod Bay, Sensor Pod, Aux Magnetic Grappler Pod, Aux Phased Energy Canons, and Shuttle pods.

Tactical Systems: Hull Polarization, Phased Energy Canons, Torpedo Launching, Spatial Torpedo System, Photonic Torpedo system. See specs for details.

Transporter Systems: The transporter system is presently only rated for cargo transport and not recommended for biologic transport.

Magnetic Grappling Systems: There is no tractor beam in this era on ship. Instead the magnetic grappling system is used.See specs for details.

Shuttle pods: Bonnie has 2 shuttle pods. See specs for details for launching.

Armory: As stated above, the ship's Armory houses the torpedo launching and maintenance systems. It is also used as the store room for the usual assortment of 5 phase-rifles, and 25 phase-pistols, a case of 40 concussion grenades, a case of 20 shaped charges, and a case of 20 Anastazine gas grenades. The ship's Armory is located in the forward most section of C-Deck. See specs for details. Weapons are activated/loaded by hand in weapons bay by order of the bridge.

Science Lab: The Sciences Lab is a generically outfitted laboratory capable of handling astrophysical, geological, chemical, or biological observation. It is located on C-Deck. A small atmospheric chamber is often used to duplicate specific atmospheric conditions such as H, K, L, M, or N environments for xeno-biological experimentation. See specs for more.

Bridge: The Bridge is located in the center of A-Deck of the saucer section. It is comprised of an Engineering duty station, a communications duty station, a science duty station, a tactical duty station, and a helm/navigation duty station. The "Con" is located at the center of the room, and is slightly elevated so that the ship's CO can swivel around and observe his Bridge crew as needed. The only access to the Bridge is via a single elevator located to the rear and port of the room.

Ready Room: The Ready Room is located adjacent to the Bridge on A-Deck. The Ready Room is outfitted as a small, private office for the ship's captain. Usually, it is equipped with a work station, equipment locker, and one or two privately obtained furnishings. What is unique about the Ready Room is its designed utility. There is a collapsible couch that folds out from one wall, along with a collapsible "dinner set" made up of a table and four chairs. This "dinner set" is usually only used for the Captain's Mess, or for special occasions when the Captain has to entertain visiting VIPs.

Situation Room(Conference area): The Situation Room is located directly aft of the Bridge on A-Deck. It is composed of five regularly sized visual wall displays, and one large central island cabinet display mounted in the center of the deck. Under normal conditions, this room is primarily used as a navigational aid and for detailed scientific analysis of astronomical interstellar phenomena. If the needs of the mission dictates, the room is used as a "Situation" room in which the command staff can discuss and analyze their current situation, and how best to proceed with the mission at hand.
